What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We do not collect any personal data of yours. Your online account details may be saved in the data base securely, in order to provide you with access to the website and for a better service. None of the passwords or any sensitive data is not saved at our servers for whatever the reason. We will not request you to provide us your passwords at all cost. You can always request us to change your password which will generate a random secure password and you are required to change it immediately once you have access to your account. You can also contact us for other matters relating to your account and we will assist you with the details in which we have access to.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the website, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. Whatever the data that you provide us to be posted on our website is considered to be used with your complete authorization. Any mishaps will have to be dealt with by the user who submits data.

Contact forms

All data provided by the users via our contact forms will be recorded and kept saved for future references. This will enable us to serve you better. However, data will be deleted if a user requests us to do us.

Cookies

Listings Directory

It is the responsibility of the user who register a listing on www.klasshub.com to provide accurate information. We do not hold any responsibility over the data that is being displayed as they are purely user-generated content. However, when we receive a request for a listing, we will be sending a communication to the email address provided as a notification. We will also attempt to contact the profile owner if we suspect the listing belong to another party.

The profile will be activated upon verification and will remain live on the website unless we receive a dispute. The actual owner can claim the listing with verification if they are interested.

All users / readers are required to check the authenticity of data available in the profiles as they are user-generated. We do not perform a 100% check on all data available. However, KlassHub.lk will be conducting a quick check to find any errors. KlasHub.lk is not responsible for any data available for the users as they are purely user generated.

iLearn with Klasshub Platform

It is the responsibility of the user who register on the platform (learn.klasshub.com) as a user (teacher, student… etc.) to provide accurate information. We do not hold any responsibility over the data that is being displayed as they are purely user-generated content.

The course owner holds the full responsibility for the course (group, course… etc.) created and its contents. It is the owners responsibility to manage the course accurately in an appropriate manner. We do not hold any responsibility for any mishaps of the course owner.

The user profiles (which are separate accounts from other two sites) will be activated upon verification and will remain live on the website unless we receive a request for a permanent deletion. Any deleted data are irreversible and not recoverable.

iLearn takes every necessary steps to safe-guard the safety of data of users and to maintain the quality of content in the platform.

Users are required to inform iLearn of any mismanagement or unruly behaviour of courses so that we can look into the same and take corrective actions.

iLearn do not collect any payments for the services unless they are donations made directly to our accounts or through PayPal links provided by us. We do not entertain any other payments on behalf of us in person or by any means.

Course providers can conduct paid courses and the owners are required to facilitate their own payment methods. iLearn does not bare any responsibility for finance related matters and the payers are required to take the matter further directly with the payee.

iLearn may offer free and paid courses and we take all measures to maintain the quality of the course. Each course will carry individual guidelines and terms and the users are required to adhere to the same. All further actions will depend on the agreed terms of the course.

All grading and certifications are as per our benchmarks and can change overtime.

Profile details

The details displayed in profiles may not be accurate or 100% correct. There could be instances where the listing owner may not update any changes that takes place. Therefore, we strongly urge the users to check the details for its authenticity and accuracy.

All self-created profiles are owned by the users who created the profiles. We try to check the authenticity of the details and there could be instances where they might not be accurate.

Users are encouraged to check the details displayed before taking any actions.

Whom we share your data with / how long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our websites (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit requested information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data
